Telescopic Posts

Telescopic Posts

Fully telescopic security posts and bollards provide the highest level of security, with much of the unit underground. Suitable for domestic and commercial uses, they're ideal for driveways, buildings, gateways, or roller shutter doors.

Our telescopic parking posts come with a premium durable powder-coated finish, offering a variety of different colour options, such as: yellow, black, green and blue. This not only ensures their durability, but also allows you to choose a colour that suits your personal preferences, or to help blend in with your surroundings.

But that's not all – we go above and beyond by offering these posts in high-quality galvanized and brushed stainless steel finishes as well. This means you have the flexibility to opt for a sleek and modern stainless steel appearance.

With our telescopic parking posts, you're not just investing in security and convenience; you're enhancing the aesthetics of your parking area.

Our TP-120/100/80 models offer versatility by allowing you to select from a range of high-quality reflective tape strip colours.

You can choose between two distinctive options: the striking combination of Black and Yellow or the attention-grabbing Red and White.

This customisation feature not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our models, but also ensures enhanced visibility and safety in various settings and conditions.

Whether you opt for the bold contrast of Black and Yellow, or the classic visibility of Red and White, you can trust that our TP-120/100/80 models will meet your specific needs while prioritising safety.

When lowered and not in use, telescopic posts sit level with the ground, eliminating any potential risks for pedestrians to trip over, or for tires to be damaged by sharp corners.

How do you maintain your telescopic post?

Maintaining the cleanliness of your post is crucial, as it not only preserves the aesthetic appeal of your telescopic post, but is also vital for ensuring smooth operation.

Regularly lubricating your lock is essential to maintain its smooth operation, and helps to repel water. Lubricate the lock with WD-40 or a similar product.

How do I install my Telescopic Bollard?

WARNING - PLEASE NOTE BEFORE INSTALLATION!

1). Please ensure the post is fully operational before installation.

2). Always be aware of mains supply pipes when digging underground.

3). Do NOT use postcrete, this can seep up the bottom of the base!

1) Select a suitable location where you wish to install the post (i.e. in front of a caravan, car, trailer, driveway, forecourt, garage door, etc.)

2) Mark and dig out an area approximately 300mm square and 200mm deeper than the outer base post sleeve.

3) Pour in gravel (20mm) to a depth of approx 200mm, placing your post centrally on top of the gravel, making sure the top plate of the sleeve is 3-5mm above ground level. Ensure the post is upright.

4) Gently place a semi-dry (not wet) mix down the sides, tapping every 150mm until your post is fully concreted in.

5) Raise the post - The cam (on the tp-80/100/120) will support the weight of the inner post. Check post is level and vertical.

6) Finish around the post according to the surrounding area.

7) As the concrete is setting, it's advisable to raise the post again to an upright position, and recheck the post is level and vertical.

8) When satisfied, lower the post to allow the concrete to set for 24 hours, before using.
