Battery Powered PIR Alarm with Built in 130 Decibel Siren, operated by Remote Control (up to 50 metres away). 

This unique PIR Alarm can be used on its own as a Stand Alone Alarm System (protecting small buildings such as sheds, garages, holiday homes etc) or together with a range of additional Battery Powered Wireless Detectors & Sirens to increase the Security & Effectiveness (highly recommended).

The additional Wireless Accessories available are:

The built in 130 Decibel Siren will sound for 60 seconds when activated, but still remain fully armed (so will trigger again if the intruder is still present or re-enters the building.

The Alarm system has a 30 second exit delay (plenty of time to leave the building and lock up) and a 5 second entry delay (normally disarmed from outside the building before entering).

The PIR has a 8 metre distance, 120 degrees horizontal & 90 degrees vertical detection pattern.

It has a low battery warning LED, when the batteries are low the LED will remain ON.

Powered by 3 x standard AA batteries (supplied). 

You can use up to 9 remote controls with any BT PIR Alarm System.

Q: I want to add a new Remote Control, what do I do?
A: You need to pair the new Remote Control into the BT-PIR and all other accessories that are working within the same Alarm System.

Q: How do pair (learn) a Remote Control into a BT-PIR?
A: Remove the rear cover from the Remote Control & BT-PIR (batteries in both need to be inserted), press and hold both pairing buttons at the same time until you hear an audible Beep. 

Q: How do I add an Internal or External Siren to my BT-PIR?
A: To add additional Sirens, please press the pairing button on the back of the Remote Control and Siren until you hear an audible Beep, repeat for all remote controls and all Sirens.

Q: Can I use multiple BT-PIR's in One System?
A: Yes you can use multiple BT-PIR's in one system, and if you choose to pair them up into a single Wireless Network then all will Arm & Disarm using a Remote Control, all would activate the Sirens if one BT-PIR is triggered.

Q: Can I add additional Wireless Sirens to one or more BT-PIR?
A: Yes you can add Internal (007-0230) & External (007-0221) Wireless Sirens (no limit).

Q: What Wireless range does the BT-PIR have to the Remote Controls and other Wireless accessories?
A: The Wireless range between the BT-PIR and all accessories is 100 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 30 - 60 metres in most applications.

Q: Are there Door or Window Contacts that can be added to the BT-PIR?
A: Yes we have two Door & Window Contacts, a standard model (ref 007-0260) or one with a Keypad and optional Built in Siren (ref 007-0630).

Q: What Remote Controls operate with the BT-PIR?
A: There are two Remote Controls that will operate with the BT-PIR, the original model 007-0240 (no longer available) & 007-0660.

Q: What Batteries are required in the BT-PIR?
A: 3 x AA Batteries.

Q: How long do the Batteries last?
A: Typically 9 - 12 months (depending on how many activations are experienced).

Q: How do I do a reset on the BT-PIR ?
A: Please see Below:

• Remove One Battery
• Hold and keep Holding the small Black Pairing Button.
• Re-fitting the Battery (whilst holding the Pairing Button).
• Hold the Pairing Button for a few Seconds whilst the BT-PIR Beeps.
• You will need to Pair existing or new Devices back into the Device.
