This Wireless Alert can be used in many different applications, examples would be:

Wireless Range:

The Wireless operating range between the two PIR's & Receiver is 600 metres (line of sight), which equates to around 200 - 400 metres in most applications (more than enough for most applications) but can be more than doubled by adding a Signal Repeater if required.

Vertical & Horizontal PIR's:

This unique DA600+ Vertical or Horizontal PIR's can be used both Indoors and Outdoors as they are Fully Weatherproof.

Detection:

The PIR's have a wide but narrow detection pattern which allows them to be used above (or to the side) of entrances, windows and doors whilst avoiding false alarms from movement nearby.

They are supplied with mounting brackets designed to make it easy to point the PIR across a Door or Window or straight down towards the Floor protecting Doors & Windows.

Sensitivity:

There are two sensitivity settings (easily changed by moving a dip-switch located in the battery compartment) on the PIR's which allows them to be set up to avoid False Alarms from ground animals and other passing traffic, these are:

• Low: 3 metre Detection.
• High: 5 metre Detection.

Battery Powered:

The PIR's are powered by 3 x AA Batteries (supplied) allowing for use both Indoors or Outdoors (it is fully weatherproof).

Receiver:

The simple Wireless Chime Receiver simply plugs into a 3-pin wall socket and will chime whenever a PIR detects movement.

It has volume control (4 levels) and 35 different chimes to choose from, allowing you to have a different tune for different PIR's.

The Receiver can be used with up to 32 PIR's, you can also add additional Receivers (no limit) if you want an alert in multiple rooms.
