Q: How many Portable Handsets can be used?
A: You can use multiple Handsets in each premises (there is no limit).

Q: Can I use this Intercom with just 2 or 3 buildings?
A: Yes, the maximum is 4, but you can purchase it for 2 or 3 buildings.

Q: How is the Caller Station powered?
A: 12v DC: via Electronic Gate or Door Circuits, or by a Transformer (not supplied as standard).

Q: Can you supply a Plug in Transformer?
A: Yes (our reference 006-1040). 

Q: Is there a Battery Backup option?
A: Yes you can select battery backup in the dropdown menu. 

Q: Can I control (open) an Electronic Gate or Door using the Handset?
A: Yes, there is two-way communication and the ability to operate a Gate or Door (provided the caller station is connected to the relevant terminals).

Q: Does the Intercom operate a Gate or Door when using battery only?
A: No: the battery backup supplied two way communication only.

Q: How do we charge the Internal Handsets?
A: The Internal Handsets are supplied with a Charging Cradle.

Q: What is the Wireless operating range?
A: 600 metres (open air) which equates to around 100 - 300 metres in most applications.

Q: Can I add an external Aerial to the Caller Station?
A: Yes, the External Aerial can be mounted on the back of a Post or Wall which helps with Wireless signals (our reference number 006-1030).

Q: What type of Relay Output is it?
A: Momentary N/O & N/C Volt Free. 

Q: Can I purchase additional Handsets?
A: Yes (our reference 006-1020).
