Smart Wireless Alarm, Built in Auto-Dialler & External PIR

8 Channel Wireless Smart Alarm Control Panel with Built in Telephone Dialler supplied with an External Wireless PIR, can be used as:

• A basic Outdoor Wireless Alarm.
• A basic Alarm with built in Telephone Dialler System.
• A Wireless Driveway Alert.
• A Wireless Driveway Alert & Alarm Dialler (to suit different times of the day).
• Or as a base to build a far more comprehensive Wireless Alarm System.

Wireless PIR: 

The weatherproof Outdoor Wireless PIR is supplied with a unique Protective Rubber Hood which results in a narrow detection pattern (ideal for external applications avoiding false alarms from Cats & Foxes when mounted low and in the horizontal position). The front aperture can easily be widened (by using a knife or scissors) should you want a wider detection area.

It has a detection range of 10 - 15 metres and transmission distance back to the control panel of 150 metres (line of sight).

There are two ways to fit this PIR:

• Approximately 1 - 1.5 metre High (hidden away) in the horizontal position.
• High up looking towards the ground (experimenting with the angle so that the PIR doesn't detect small ground animals).

There is a built in 3 minute power saving delay (following each activation), but this can be changed to 15 seconds for applications more worried about a time delay than battery life, powered by a single PP3 battery.

The battery will operate for between 6 - 12 months in most applications (depending on number of activations) and has a built in low battery warning (a slow flashing red LED on the PIR) allowing for timely battery replacement. 

There is no limit to how many additional PIR's can be added to this system.

Alert:

If you are using the Control Panel as an Alert to monitor your driveway or garden, it will omit a single chime together with activating a latched flashing LED Screen if the PIR is triggered, this flashing LED allows you to know there has been an activation whilst you were away. The screen can be reset by pressing the keypad, but will continue to chime again even if it is still flashing.

Additional PIR's can be added if you want to monitor other locations.
