Flat Surface Mounted Aerial (UltraCom Wireless Video Intercom)

Flat Surface Mounted Aerial for the UltraCom Wireless Video Intercom to help transmit the signal through walls & posts, can be used Internally & Externally.

Supplied with around 1 metre of cable which is fitted into the back of the caller station with a screw type connector, and supplied with heavy duty double sided tape, these Aerials would be typically used in:

• Inside a Porch.
• Inside a large Property.
• At the rear of a Fence or Gate.
• To the rear of a wall.

In all cases the cable can be neatly taken to the desired location of the non obtrusive looking Flat Aerial. 

Additional Aerials:

With all Wireless equipment, the operating range is measured in 'line of sight', this is the only true way a manufacturer can state the range as they have no control about what type and how many obstructions may be located in the way when the device is being used. Obviously the more dense the obstruction or obstructions (stone, concrete, steel) and the quantity of obstructions will effect (reduce) the operating range.

With Wireless Intercoms the first major obstruction that the signal has to pass through is the wall that the caller station is mounted onto, this may be a thick stone wall, a concrete or stone gate pillar, a steel frame which can significantly reduce the Wireless operating range, in these examples it would be far more beneficial to have the Aerial mounted to the inside of this mounting position.
