Security Floodlight & Siren Driveway Alarm with Outdoor Receiver, PIR & Vehicle Sensing Probe

• The Security Floodlight could be used with the PIR or Vehicle Probe and paired into zone 1 on the Outdoor Receiver.
• The Loud 118 dB Siren could be used with the other Detector (probe or pir) and paired into zone 2 on the Outdoor Receiver.
• You can set totally different time settings on zone 1 & zone 2, so you could have zone 1 operating for 5 or 15 minutes (when triggered) and zone 2 for 10 seconds or 3 minutes (when triggered).
• Zone 1 would only be active when you have Armed zone 1 using the Remote Control.
• Zone 2 would would only be active when you have Armed zone 2 using the Remote Control.
• You can choose to have one or both zones ON or OFF at any time.
• You can also choose to activate one or both zones using the SOS Button on the Remote Control (regardless of the status of the alarm), in this instance the relevant zone (or zones) would latch on until they are disarmed using the Remote Controls (ideal for security & medical emergencies).
• You could also choose to have both PIR's paired into zone 1 together with the Light & Siren, both operating for the same selected duration.

Duration:

The duration of the Security Light or Siren are fully adjustable (by selecting combinations of the internal dip-switches) from 1 seconds to Latched ON, the full list is as below:

• 1 second or minute.
• 3 seconds or minutes.
• 10 seconds or minutes.
• 15 seconds or minutes.
• 20 seconds or minutes.
• 30 seconds or minutes.
• Latched ON (until disarmed using the remote control).

Remote Control:

The specially designed remote control supplied with this Outdoor Receiver has the following features:

• Arm & Disarm either channel on the Outdoor Receiver.
• Trigger a optional SOS button which would activate the connected accessories (regardless of if the receiver is disarmed) which could be a Siren, Buzzer, Floodlight or any 12v DC device. This device would latch on until the OFF Button is pressed on any Remote Control paired to the Receiver. 

The Remote Control has an intelligent Feedback LED Indicator which confirms that the signal you have sent to the Outdoor Receiver is successful.

Additional Remote Controls can be added (there is no limit).

The operating distance between the Remote Control & Outdoor Receiver is 800 metres (line of sight) which relates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications. This allows you to Disarm the Receiver before passing through a Protect 800 Detector, or Arming the Receiver after leaving the premises.

Powered by two standard AAA Batteries (supplied).

Wireless Transmitter & Probe:

The Wireless Transmitter is powered by 3 x CR123A batteries and is fully weatherproof, the Vehicle Detecting Probe is supplied with 14 metres of Cable going back to the Transmitter Box, this allows you to install the Transmitter Box in a covert location and a location suitable for Wireless Transmission.

The probe is designed to be buried just under the surface/grass parallel to the driveway, and will only pick up moving steel, so it is perfect for locations with large animals roaming around. It can even be placed next to a locked steel gate, and would only detect the gate if it moves.

It is recommended that the Cable is fitted inside some protective sleeving prevent small ground animals damaging it.

There is sensitivity adjustment on the Transmitter Board allowing you to fine tune your Alarm.

Lens Caps:

The PIR's are supplied with 3 Lens Cap Settings which together with internal adjustments allow you to set them to suit your application, these include:

• Pencil Beam Attachment: Provides a very narrow Beam to avoid small to medium ground animals.
• Medium Beam Attachment: Provides a narrow Beam to avoid most small to medium ground animals whilst detecting Vehicles more efficiently than the Pencil Beam.
• No attachment Fitted: Ideal when the detection of Vehicles is most important to you.

Installation Tip:

We recommend the PIR's are fitted looking away from a rising Sun rather than towards it, if this is not possible then care should be taken when choosing the location and direction of each PIR, this basic principle is the same for most outdoor PIR's.

The PIR's can also easily be hidden inside plastic and wooden structures with some simple imaginative creation to help hide them, the strong 800 metre wireless transmission helps this be possible.

Operational Options:

This PIR's have the unique feature of being able to use the PIR in two ways:

• 24 hour operation (for use in locations where all day detection is prefered).
• Night Time Operation (for use in locations where you only want a working detector during the hours of darkness).

This allows you to perhaps have some PIR's working throughout the day on a subtle chime from the Receiver, and other PIR's that only work when it is dark, which would trigger a louder Siren on the Receiver (ideal for protecting buildings like workshops etc).
