This 4G control unit kit is supplied with a transformer. It can provide WiFi to as many as eight IP cameras at the same time (though this number may decrease with higher resolution cameras). This enables mobile surveillance installations in remote areas lacking WiFi networks, such as construction sites. The kit includes four wireless 12V Reolink (RLC-410W) CCTV cameras.

Mobile Surveillance System!

This 4G controller casing operates using the included transformer. It supplies power to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) camera through its RJ45 port and can also create a secure WiFi network, allowing connection to up to 8 wireless cameras. This setup enables simple and effective monitoring of isolated and network-deficient areas, such as construction sites.

4G Network: No constraints

You can install the UltraCAM 4G controller casing anywhere you choose, as it connects to the network through its own SIM card (not included), functioning similarly to a mobile phone. This 4G controller casing is conveniently compatible with all most network operators and utilizes the 4G network for connectivity.

What happens if there is a power outage?

What use is a video surveillance system for a construction site, home, or business if it fails during a power cut, be it accidental or deliberate? With this in mind, we've engineered the UltraCAM controller unit featuring an inbuilt backup battery. This ensures the system remains operational, maintaining power even in the event of a power outage.

Expect up to 3 hours of battery backup life, which provides ample time to intervene and restore power (these figures can vary depending on the type/number of cameras in the system).

SIM Card Required

Regarding the SIM card and necessary plan for the 4G control box, it's advisable to allocate at least 1 GB of data per month for each camera. Please note that data usage can vary significantly based on individual usage, so providing a precise estimate for everyone is challenging.

Weather-resistant

The casing is robust and designed for outdoor installation. It is IP65 certified. Indoor use is, of course, possible. It can be easily installed using its integrated mounting holes.

Power Supply on Provided Transformer

Only one power cable needs to be connected for operation! Simply plug the 4G controller casing into the mains using the provided transformer (cable length 180 cm).

What if there is a power outage?

Please note that our UltraCAM 4G controller casing is available in a version equipped with a backup battery ("coming soon"). This option ensures the power supply to the surveillance system in case of a power outage (accidental or criminal). The battery life varies depending on the type and number of cameras within the UltraCAM system; however, it allows for continued video surveillance of your property until the power is restored. An added security feature!
