The Long Range Wireless Doorbell (Protect 800) is the perfect solution for situations where traditional doorbells fail to perform reliably. This system includes a 'Brass' push button and a plug in 6 channel receiver with adjustable volume, offering 32 chime options. Additionally, it features optional 12v relay output, ideal for integrating flashing strobes or buzzers. With an impressive 800-metre transmission range (400-600 metres in typical applications), it's suitable for large homes, outbuildings, garden offices, or business premises. You can add extra push buttons to cover multiple entrances, each with unique chimes and visual notifications. Powered by a long-lasting battery, the system also alerts you in case of low battery. Reliable and adaptable, it’s the ultimate choice for your doorbell needs.

How it works

When the brass push button is pressed, it wirelessly sends an alert to the 6-channel receiver via the transmitter button (connected via the included 1m of cable). The receiver identifies the triggered zone, illuminates the corresponding zone light, and plays your selected tone for that zone, ensuring you're immediately aware of a visitor.

This Push Button is perfect for customers looking for a premium looking doorbell. The push button connects to a wireless transmitter via a 1-metre cable, and the transmitter is installed on the opposite side of the wall, such as inside a porch or house, ensuring a neat and discreet setup.

Featuring an impressive 800-metre transmission range (line of sight), this system typically achieves a reliable range of 400–600 metres in most real world applications. It’s ideal for covering larger properties or outdoor spaces.

For added flexibility, additional transmitters and push buttons can be easily incorporated, making it simple to cover multiple entrances or entry points.

The wireless transmitter is powered by a 3V CR123A battery (included), providing a lifespan of 12–18 months under normal usage. The Receiver will alert you when the battery is running low, ensuring uninterrupted performance.

Note: The brass push button connects to the wireless transmitter using a 1-metre cable, with the transmitter installed on the opposite side of the wall (e.g., inside a house or porch).

Battery Back Up:

You can add 3 x LR14 (C Type) Batteries into the Receiver which will ensure full operation in the event of a Power Failure.

Output Relays & Voltage:

There is a set of N/O & N/C Momentary Output Relays together with a 12v DC Output for use connecting accessories to the Receiver when required.

The optional remote control allows for convenient management of the indoor receiver, enabling users to arm, disarm, and stop alerts remotely. The remote operates independently of specific zones and can control groups of zones. For instance, Arm (1-3) button arms group 1 (zones 1-3), while Arm (4-6) button arms group 2 (zones 4-6). Similarly, Disarm (1-3) and disarm (4-6) disarm these groups. During an alert, Stop (1-3) or Stop (4-6) can stop the audible alarm, strobe LEDs, and clear the zone LED with successive presses. This system enhances the flexibility and usability of the receiver.
