Our fold down parking posts come with a premium high-quality powder-coated finish, offering a plethora of different colour options. This not only ensures their durability, but also allows you to choose a colour that suits your personal preferences, or to help blend in with your surroundings.

As a standard feature, most of our fold-down posts are equipped with an integral secure lock or padlock, providing you peace of mind, and security. For your convenience, we've included two keys to ensure you have a backup in case one is misplaced.
When considering the installation of multiple posts, it's worth noting that we offer the convenient option of Keyed Alike. This option allows you to utilise a single key for the purpose of both locking, and unlocking several posts, and helps to streamline the process.

Are fold down parking posts easy to use?
Fold down parking posts are one of our easiest posts to use. Simply lift up the post, press in the lock to securely lock the post, without the key!
Unlocking is as simple as inserting one of the two supplied keys. Turn the key, the lock will pop out, fold the post down. (Our fold down posts can even be locked in the down position!)
Can I install my removable post on block paving?
This really depends on how the block paving is installed, and the quality of the paving.
If it's installed with just sand, no. The post can just be pulled up easily.
If the block paving is dry cemented in, yes. (If the quality of the block paving is secure.)
If you are unsure. We recommend installing them onto concrete pads, or use a spigot post.
What size bolts do I need for my bolt down post?

How do I install my bolt down fold down post?
Always be aware of mains supply pipes when drilling underground.
1) Select a suitable location where you wish to install the post (i.e. in front of a caravan, car, car park space, trailer, driveway, forecourt, garage door, etc.)
2) Use bolts suitable for your installation: such as, ground bolts, secure bolts, tarmac bolts, or ground anchors.
Ground Bolts: Ground fixing bolts are designed to secure fold down parking posts onto a concrete base.

3) Drill holes using the correct size bit for your chosen bolts, and to a suitable depth for the bolts and post you're installing.
4) Tap the bolts into the concrete / tarmac surface leaving enough thread for tightening.
5) Mount the post to the bolts and tighten. (if using secure nuts, tighten until the bolts sheer)
What is the spigot on the fold down spigot used for?
The unique spigot on the fold down spigot post serves a crucial purpose. It’s specifically designed for situations where you may encounter suboptimal, or poor quality surfaces, such as deteriorating tarmac, loose gravel, or uneven block paving.
By using the spigot, you achieve a reinforced and sturdy installation that ensures the post remains securely in place, even in less than ideal ground conditions.
This added stability not only enhances the overall effectiveness of the fold down spigot, but also contributes to the longevity of your security solution
How do I install my fold down spigot post?
Always be aware of mains supply pipes when installing underground.
1) Select a suitable location where you wish to install the post (i.e. in front of a caravan, car, car park space, trailer, driveway, forecourt, garage door, etc.)
2) Mark and dig out an area approximately 300mm square and 200mm deeper than the base.
3) Pour in gravel (20mm) to a depth of approx 200mm, placing your base centrally on top of the gravel, making sure the top plate of the base is 3-5mm above ground level.
4) Gently place a moist (not wet) mix down the sides, tapping until your base is fully concreted in.
5) Add the post to the base and check the post is level and vertical.
6) Tighten the bolts
7) Finish around the base according to the surrounding area.
8) Allow the concrete to fully set for 24 hours before using.

Each fold-away parking post is supplied with a specialised mounting tray, featuring a hinged lid.
When the post is not required, it can be easily folded into the tray. The hinged lid can be closed securely over the top, and locked with the supplied key, creating an unobtrusive path for pedestrians and vehicles
When the post is required, the hinged lid is unlocked (with the supplied key) and then the post can be effortlessly raised into its upright position. The hinged lid then be locked back down into position.
