The Long Range Protect 800 Wireless Magnetic Gate Contact Alarm is a robust and reliable security solution, perfect for gates, doors, or roller shutters. It includes a weatherproof battery-powered transmitter, a wired magnetic contact with an armoured protective sleeve, and an indoor receiver. Boasting an impressive 800-metre range (400–600 metres in most applications), it ensures seamless communication with the receiver, which features adjustable volume, 32 melodies, and low battery notifications. The transmitter operates on a durable 3v CR123A battery lasting 12–18 months, while the receiver is mains-powered with optional battery backup. How it works
The Protect Wireless Gate Contact Alarm activates when the gate contact detects separation. This triggers the transmitter, which sends a wireless signal up to 800 metres (line of sight, typically 400–600 metres in most applications) to the 6-channel receiver, ensuring you receive instant notifications.
Magnetic Contact
The battery-powered transmitter board is housed inside a weatherproof box, ensuring durability in outdoor conditions. The operating range back to the receiver is 800 metres (line of sight, which typically translates to around 400–600 metres in most applications).
The transmitter is powered by a 3v CR123A battery (supplied) with a lifespan of approximately 12–18 months under normal usage. Additionally, the receiver will notify you if the battery is running low.
A wired contact with an armoured protective sleeve is connected to this transmitter box. The contact is designed to be fitted to a gate post, door frame, or floor (ideal for use with doors or roller shutter contacts).
The magnet is intended for installation on the gate, door, or roller shutter door, with an optional right-hand mounting bracket supplied to assist with different installations.

It comes with a battery backup, loss-of-power alerts, and even a low battery notification. Whether you prefer it wall mounted or desk mounted, this Receiver adapts to you.
Battery Back Up:
You can add 3 x LR14 (C Type) Batteries into the Receiver which will ensure full operation in the event of a Power Failure.
Output Relays & Voltage:
There is a set of N/O & N/C Momentary Output Relays together with a 12v DC Output for use connecting accessories to the Receiver when required.

Optional Remote
The optional remote control allows for convenient management of the indoor receiver, enabling users to arm, disarm, and stop alerts remotely. The remote operates independently of specific zones and can control groups of zones. For instance, Arm (1-3) button arms group 1 (zones 1-3), while Arm (4-6) button arms group 2 (zones 4-6). Similarly, Disarm (1-3) and disarm (4-6) disarm these groups. During an alert, Stop (1-3) or Stop (4-6) can stop the audible alarm, strobe LEDs, and clear the zone LED with successive presses. This system enhances the flexibility and usability of the receiver.
